“A Labyrinth Is a Rabbit Hole” is a visual poem in Luke Bradford’s signature style, fitting the letterforms of a short sentence into the shape of a rectangular maze. The maze created by the sentence is, of course, solvable, while the sentence remains legible from a distance. The Blasted Tree has produced a limited edition of fifty 10” x 17” broadsides featuring Bradford’s visual poem.

In the present age of digital media, the art of publishing and book-binding is quickly being forgotten. The Blasted Tree appreciates the difference between reading a story online and holding a copy in your hands, and we feel the experience of owning a high-quality physical copy should not be lost. Though we make most of our media available online free of charge, physical distribution is how we raise funds to promote our authors and this site. The Blasted Tree is involved at every level of publication, from editing to typesetting, production, and distribution. What better way to support Canadian authors and artists than by purchasing a printed copy of their work?
