Contributing Author

sophie anne edwards (she/her/settler) is a multidisciplinary poet and geographer who lives and walks on Mnidoo Mnising (Manitoulin Island, Anishinaabeg territory). She leans into durational/process- and field-based practices in her work. She is grateful for the river, along with funding from the Canada Council for the Arts, and support from members of her Community Shared Art project that enabled her to work on these poems. There are beloved folk that shape and support her along this river walk: A, C, D, E, J. Follow sophie’s wondering wanderings on sophieanneedwards.blogspot.com
